Dr. A. Praveen Kumar
Founder / Director
Dr. A. Praveen Kumar, Ph.D. in Child Psychology, is a dedicated Rehabilitation Practitioner and Child Psychologist with over 19 years of experience supporting children with special needs and disabilities in both public and private educational settings. As the Director of REACH Educational Society, he has led various community-based initiatives, collaborated with NGOs, and implemented capacity-building programs across Telangana.
His work spans community counseling, slum development, and organizing medical and health camps, particularly on World Disability Day. He has actively participated in distributing disability pensions and implementing government welfare schemes. Dr. Praveen has also developed and delivered state-level awareness campaigns, IEC materials, and seminars focused on Autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, and intellectual disabilities.
In addition to his fieldwork, Dr. Praveen is a sought-after speaker addressing stress, anger management, leadership, and counseling for students, teachers, and parents. A member of the Telangana Psychologist Association, he brings deep insight into India’s social, political, and donor landscapes, along with strong advocacy and communication skills.
The RiderCares Story
The Vehicle Riders Care Welfare Society was established in Hyderabad with a singular, powerful realization: while vehicle riders form the backbone of our daily commute and economy, they are often the most vulnerable on the road.
Witnessing families struggle after road accidents and the lack of immediate legal and medical support for riders, a group of dedicated individuals came together to form RiderCares. What started as a small initiative has grown into a robust welfare society, standing firmly beside riders in their times of greatest need.
